General Guidelines
The Grayslake Golf Course is a walking course with pull carts available for rent. Golf carts are not available at the course. The course reserves the right to combine groups to expedite play. Each player must have their own clubs, or rent a set from the Clubhouse. All walking spectators must pay the $9 spectator fee. We ask all players to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to their tee time. Late arriving tee times may be rescheduled.
Every group, including those with youth, must abide by the general rules, use of proper golf etiquette, and be able to keep with the pace of play.
ANYONE on the Grayslake Golf Course must be a payed guest, with a set of clubs or pay a spectator fee. Club rentals are available in the Clubhouse.
All golfers must tee off from the #1 tee, unless otherwise directed by the Clubhouse staff.
NO strollers, car seats, or child carriers allowed on our public course.
Children must be at least 5 years old to be on the course and any child under 8 must be supervised by an adult.
Non-Golfing Minors
Junior Golf is very important to the Grayslake Golf Course, however, the safety and wellbeing of children on the course is even more important. Because of this, we have created policies that will limit the opportunity for child safety issues to occur. Children in strollers are unable to avoid stray golf balls and are a potential disturbance to other players.
Errant Golf Ball Policy
Kindly understand that the Grayslake Park District is not responsible or liable for property damage or personal injuries arising out of errant golf balls. Errant shots are a part of the game and it is impossible to eliminate the inherent risks associated with the game of golf. However, the Park District is committed to safety, good sportsmanship, and cooperation, and has developed an Errant Golf Ball Policy to minimize errant shots and to assist injured parties in identifying the responsible golfer who hit the errant shot.
